In the Making: Crafting a Business
A series of talks for students of craft and trade and those looking to start a creative business
Now in its sixth season, In the Making returns on January 29, 2026 (through May) with an eight episode series focused on supporting the transition from student to professional. This year, alumni and community partners will share firsthand insights on key aspects of starting a business—from shaping a livelihood and setting up a workshop to purchasing an existing creative business.
Stay tuned for details—we hope you’ll join us in person or virtually.
These programs are made possible with generous support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and all of our Partners in Craft.
